"i cut off and traded a slice of my soul for this greatness" gets me every time. lines about body parts do that to me too - i write them often for that reason. something so tangible, it gets to me. musically on this song: i have a soprano register and i don't often write super high notes to bank on it like this. in retrospect that c-section climb is a little random but it's just a thinking section.

lyrics:
I cut off and traded a slice of my soul for this greatness
To live a life of pain and love
I took off and gave it, laid down for your eyes and replayed it
Your hands on the small of my naked love
And I don’t regret you cuz somehow I get you
I don’t regret you cuz somehow I get you
I don’t regret you cuz somehow I get you
Everything is elevated in a room with you
In a room with you
And if I know you like I think I do, you don’t want me locked in a room
So promise me I’ll be okay if I go out there without you
And if I know you like I think I do, you don’t want me locked in a room
So promise me I’ll be okay if I go out there without you
I don’t regret you cuz somehow I get you
I don’t regret you cuz somehow I get you
I don’t regret you cuz somehow I get you
Everything is elevated in a room with you
In a room with you

i hoped i'd hear some coronavirus music, fresh from our confinement, and this was a combo of dark & refreshing I didn't know was everything i wanted. Millaze
oh, hunter. oh oh oh hunter. i could sit and watch and listen to hunter for hours and fly off this planet internally without noticing the time pass. how do his fingers do it. how is that voice. Millaze
