This is track 1 of the original LvF 5 - and it was the first album to come together pretty much all at one time, in 2016, the broad strokes written during a Megabus trip between Pittsburgh and Washington DC while visiting a friend. I had attempted the LvF concept since the logo's inception in 2014 in the order of 2 trilogies of EPs: LvF and SvS. These evolved over the years into 1 chapter each, from 2 different books. But this song stands proudly as the first steps into Oakland, into double-meanings and secretly sculpted metaphors, and blatant missed conversation.
