This is a song I wrote in 2018, and it was my dad's favorite, so it belongs on this album.
It's about figuring out a way to be with someone mentally no matter what reality's dictating - if someone literally leaves you like death, yeah sure that's the theme of this album about my dad,
but also when someone you love is ghosting you & your brain will figure out how to be with them even if it's not good for you.
lyrics
lyrics:
Am I weaker than those before me
Who take it to the chest and move on
Because I zoom in where I want
Oh, it’s where I want
But I know that girl is out there
I can knock on her door
Say welcome back, you’re up now
No, I can’t tell you how much more
But I do get to slip away
In a room, in a corner without you
I do get to slip away, slip away
I do get to slip away
In a room, in a corner without you
I do get to slip away, slip away
And be with you
But I do get to slip away
In a room, in a corner without you
I do get to slip away, slip away
I do get to slip away
In a room, in a corner without you
I do get to slip away, slip away
And be with you
I do get to slip away,
I do get to slip away, slip away
And be with you

i hoped i'd hear some coronavirus music, fresh from our confinement, and this was a combo of dark & refreshing I didn't know was everything i wanted. Millaze
oh, hunter. oh oh oh hunter. i could sit and watch and listen to hunter for hours and fly off this planet internally without noticing the time pass. how do his fingers do it. how is that voice. Millaze
